Wesley (he/him) is a Sound Designer, Production Sound Engineer and No 1 based in Essex his experience has credits in sound design with professional regional productions and on tour combined with his vast credits in various sound roles from Production Engineer, No 1 and No 2 with professional productions and West End. Having worked on a diverse range of theatre and with extensive knowledge in industry standard equipment he is able to utilise all aspects of the system to create high quality sounding productions. Wesley specialises in musicals or actor-muso productions working collaboratively with musical directors, composers and directors to create crystal clear audio elevated with immersive soundscapes.
Wesley Laing Sound is a live theatre sound design and services company covering all types of theatre across the UK. We specialise in musical theatre of all scales from amateur to professional and on tour but our work can be heard throughout multiple types of theatre. Our services extend from complete sound design to production engineering, operation and system installation and equipment hire for theatre, music, events and corporate.

Founded in 2022, Wesley Laing Sound was started to house all of Wesley’s work in sound design and engineering across the theatre industry, now it stands on its own with a team of associate sound designers, production engineers and operators dedicated to creating high quality audio for theatre across the UK. Our team of associates create bespoke sound designs and implemenent them on site to the highest standard to give your production a sound like no other. Our work can be heard in plays, musical theatre, actor musician productions and pantomimes for professional and amateur theatre projects but we dont stop there, we are able to create unique sound experiences for immersive productions, music events and instal.
